Sansan, Inc., which provides AI transformation (AX) solutions that reshape how we work, has announced how Dunlop Tire (Thailand) Co. Ltd. (Dunlop Tire Thailand) is using Bill One, the accounting AX solution from Sansan. The company has achieved notable results.
Dunlop Tire Thailand sells tires and provides related services in Thailand. Local sales representatives had been receiving around 200 paper invoices each month and manually entered payment information into Excel to manage it. This process was a major burden. In April 2026, Bill One was implemented in a local staff-led initiative to digitize invoice operations. This reduced processing work by 90%, reduced human errors, and created an environment in which employees can focus on core work.
Background to implementing Bill One
Dunlop Tire Thailand has set proactive actions by local staff and business process optimization as aims in its medium-term management plan, and the company is building an organization where local sales representatives can focus more on core work.
Previously, local sales representatives received invoices from vendors by postal mail or chat tools. In addition to handling and circulating paper invoices, they manually entered payment information for each invoice into Excel and created invoices for customers, causing a heavy workload. Input errors also sometimes required invoice corrections or confirmations with vendors, risking delays in customer response.
Bill One was implemented to solve these issues, create time for sales representatives to focus on core work – such as customer proposals, relationship building, and market analysis – and establish a system for promoting and operating accounting digital transformation (DX) led by local staff.
Operations and results after implementation
In implementing Bill One, Dunlop Tire Thailand has built a system for centrally managing invoices received from vendors online. Bill One also receives paper invoices on its behalf and digitizes them, allowing related departments to check the same information in real time.
Reduced invoice processing work by 90%, creating an environment where sales representatives can focus on core work
Through digitizing invoices with Bill One, Dunlop Tire Thailand has largely eliminated the work sales representatives had done to receive and circulate paper invoices and enter information into Excel, reducing workload by around 90%.
The company also extracts data from Bill One and uses it to create invoices for customers, largely eliminating manual input and human errors. This reshaping of work has created an environment in which sales representatives can spend time on work they need to focus on, such as customer communication and sales proposals.
Dedicated Bill One support for achieving accounting DX led by local staff
Support from dedicated Bill One representatives helped Dunlop Tire Thailand to smoothly handle and support inquiries from local business partners and vendors in Thailand about operations, creating a system in which more than 80% upload and send invoices through Bill One. And using Bill One’s message and notes functions has made it easier to request corrections from vendors and share processing status with internal members. These changes have improved operational efficiency, reduced dependence on specific individuals, and established an operating system led by local staff.
Comments from Takahiro Tanaka, President, Dunlop Tire (Thailand) Co. Ltd.
At our company, based on our medium-term management plan, we’ve reviewed our business processes to create an environment in which sales representatives can focus on higher-value work. When implementing Bill One, we were concerned about whether the new operations would take hold in the field, since many of our transacting partners are local tire shops in Thailand. But Bill One is easy to use and the support system for vendors was strong, so adoption progressed smoothly both inside and outside the company.
As a result, operations have shifted from being almost entirely paper-based to a system in which around 80% of partners and vendors now upload invoices online. I believe the success was because Thai staff in the field took the lead and drove the project forward, with support from the Bill One team.
We see this initiative as the first step toward creating change led by local staff. Building on this success, we want to connect this to organization-wide growth by developing a culture in which each staff member independently identifies issues, makes proposals to management, and drives improvements.
