The Furusato Nozei (“hometown tax”) program allows companies to donate to projects that help address challenges that local governments face. While contributing to regional communities, companies can also receive tax benefits, with up to around 90% of the donation amount being deductible.
This initiative supports the revitalization of local governments where our offices are located, through the Furusato Nozei plan for corporations.
In addition to our head office in Shibuya, Tokyo, Sansan has seven other branches and offices across Japan. Each location plays an essential role in our business and serves as a foundation for building their local communities’ future.
Through this initiative, we aim to create new connections and opportunities for collaboration, driving innovation that contributes to regional revitalization.
Sansan’s Locations
The donation amounts to each local government project are determined based on employee voting results. Each employee considers which region they want to support and which social issues resonate with them, then casts their vote accordingly.
This process gives employees a chance to actively engage with local initiatives and strengthens the connection between our offices and their communities, as well as among employees across different locations.
Through the Sansan Furusato Nozei Project, we will continue to grow together with our regional offices and contribute to building a more sustainable society.
